Career in Designing

Why should you select a creative design career?

This is a question I’m sure every interviewer has asked a designer, and in response, they’ve gotten a number of intriguing replies that have occasionally astonished them and made them realize that design is the true component of everything that works.

And as designers, whether UI/UX or architects, this question makes us very pleased because it allows us to express our path into this wonderful area of design and why we like attempting to develop products that function.
So, now I’d want to share my response with anyone who is curious about how I ended myself here, in the so-called design world.

Design is the interface between a human and a product.

When you ask someone, “Why do you use this product more than any other?” They will just respond, “It is lovely to use.”

In other words, I may quote Steve Jobs’ famous phrase, “Design is all about how it works.”

However, for me, design is about more than just a product’s functionality.
When I say design lies between a human and a product, I mean that when companies start to build ideas, they generally use their engineering teams to build a great product for the people out there in the world, and I am sure that their talented engineering teams could easily build one, but when it comes to building a great product for people to use beautifully, they need a team of designers who not only solve a complex great product but also include a human empathy into the product that makes the complex product simple and people’s product.

The Designer has the opportunity to collaborate with both the product development teams and the product users. In this in-between area, the designer has several opportunities to immerse himself in the lives of other individuals in order to create a product that can address a problem in their lives.

Until you are a designer, you will not understand how it feels to be given the chance to create a product that others will like using.

And I want to be in a position where I can continually listen to people and their specific problems in order to get into their lives and feel them in order to provide better solutions to their lives by producing a fantastic product with different technical teams.

That is why I chose the design.

Sincere compassion and sympathy for Humans.

Why do we create a product?

We create solutions for people to use.

How can we know if they would utilize it or not?

By really knowing them, their pain areas, and their lives.

Who is going to do this?

Designers.

Yes, it is the designer’s responsibility to understand humans in order to assist corporations in creating outstanding goods for humans.

It is a designer’s responsibility to comprehend humans on a deep level in order to grasp what concerns them in their lives, what makes them happy, what their requirements are, and what type of things they desire in their lives.

During the design process, designers have the opportunity to meet a variety of people as they conduct user interviews, spend time with others, and listen to their stories. Designers enjoy this phase because they are not burdened with the responsibility of doing a job; instead, designers feel as if they are enjoying their lives by learning about other people’s lives.

As an emotional person, I enjoy interacting with people on an emotional level because I feel that when you engage with people on an emotional level, you gain a lot of their perspectives and questions.

That’s why I went with the design.

Always Experiments

Aside from the psychology profession, I believe the design field is another location where we have many opportunities to conduct various experiments, and each experiment provides us with a variety of answers and questions.

And I really adore this chase of questions and answers because it sometimes offers you so many ideas that you feel like fixing various issues and hunting for different solutions every day.

Experimenting, I believe, becomes your strength when you enter the design space. When you spot a problem, you start trying and don’t stop until you find a satisfactory answer.

Problems are solved via design.

Finally, everyone understands that design is all about issue-solving, and design provides tools to help you solve those challenges.

I feel that saying that only designers can solve problems is prejudiced since engineers can solve problems as well, but it is the designer that takes it first. Of course, most of the time, working together, engineers and designers can tackle complex problems.

When someone has an issue, their following statement is almost always, “Design me a better solution.”

If I were the most powerful person on the planet, I would simply change the word Solution to Design.

This design discipline of solving global challenges led me to this design area.

That’s why I went with Design.
